The directors of Saving Children, Building Families (“SCBF”) have come together to help families trying to adopt a child, but lack the financial ability to complete the adoption process. It is goal of SCBF to direct the limited funds available to where it will do the most good based on the available information. It should not be interpreted, and it is not intended, that the financial decisions made by SCBF be viewed as passing judgment whatsoever to the suitability of the families seeking to adopt. It is the precept of this foundation that all children deserve a family and deserve the love and support that comes with a loving family. All families that seek to adopt, whether financed through SCBF or not, should be recognized for the nobility and necessity of their goal.

Mr. Preece has over 15 years of finance and investment banking experience, currently working in DZ Bank’s Asset Securitization Group as a Senior Vice President. Mr. Preece adopted his son Nicolai from Saratov, Russia in January 1999. Since that time, he has worked to help other families adopt international children. Patrick holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Finance, both from the University of Michigan.

Jon R. Sabes, Director:

Mr. Sabes, has over fifteen years experience in investment banking, business development, corporate law and consulting in a variety of industries. Mr. Sabes is President of Opportunity Finance and is responsible for all aspects of the company’s business. Prior to becoming Chief Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Sabes was a founding partner of Jon Adams Financial Co., LLP. Jon Adams Financial is a law firm and business advisory firm specializing in providing small and medium size businesses with professional services related to mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to Jon Adams Financial, Mr. Sabes served as a tax consultant with Ernst & Young LLP. In addition, Mr. Sabes’ professional experience includes serving as Vice President of Business Development for Gaming Corporation of America and investment banking with Jefferies & Company, Inc. Mr. Sabes earned a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota and holds a BA from the University of Colorado.

David L. Probst, Director:

David L. Probst from Columbus, Ohio, is a Managing Director of the Asset Backed Group of Red Capital Markets, Inc., a subsidiary of National City Bank. He has been in investment banking for 20 years and was formerly a Managing Director with McDonald Investments and Bank One Capital Markets. He specializes in the securitization of mortgage as well as non-mortgage assets and has extensive experience working with specialty finance companies. David and his wife Cindy are involved in numerous activities in the Columbus area. David participates with Huesman Heart Foundation, a group dedicated to educate people, especially children, about heart disease. He also participated, for 5 years, with the Childhood League, a group that raises money for a school to provide education to less fortunate children who have special needs. He is active with his church, having served on numerous committees. David received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Miami University in 1979 and his M.B.A. from The Ohio State University in 1984.
